Runaway Lugaai is an adult comedy series, it is 1 season, 10 episodes long, and each episode duration is around 18-20 mins excluding intro and outro.

When it comes to knowing whether it is worth watching or not. Continue to read the spoiler-free review.

It looks like a low-budget series by its production quality and cinematography. In the trailer, you see that the wife of the lead character, runs away after her marriage, and her family members struggle to find her, which is shown funnily.

This series doesn’t have any surprising / extremely curious moments and the reason that his wife runs, is also not logical and it doesn’t seem realistic.

That doesn’t mean it’s not worth watching. This will definitely entertain you when you are bored. The major factor that makes this series worth watching is Sanjay Mishra’s acting.

Sanjay Mishra is playing a role of Narendra Sinha, who is a local politian. And Naveen Kasturia as Rajnikant Sinha. These two people’s acting will stick you till the end of the series.

It is an adult comedy series, but there are very few scenes that make it 16+. It doesn’t have any brutal violence, nudity, or vulgar language. It’s simply an entertaining series.

As it is a comedy series, obviously a question arises. How funny it is? Well, it is quite funny and entertaining, but they have shown some serious/emotional moments also as a comedy, which doesn’t suit well.

Runaway Lugaai Cast

  • Naveen Kasturia as Rajnikant Sinha
  • Ruhi Singh as Bulbul Pandey
  • Sanjay Mishra as Narendra Sinha
  • Pankaj Jha as Shakti
  • Chittaranjan Tripathy as Dashrath Pandey
  • Arya Babbar as Rakesh

The acting is good, but at some point, you’ll feel it as over-acting. Also, most of the time, you’ll feel that the scene would have been better if the camera angle was changed.

Overall, it is a quite nice series with an 8.3 IMDb rating. Watch it without any high expectations. Also, you don’t have to pay any subscription charges, you can watch it for free here.
