Richard Anthony is the next film written and directed by Rakshit Shetty. The title launch was on Hombale Films YouTube channel, this means the film will be under Hombale Films banner by Vijay Kiragandur as producer.
This is a crime thriller film and continuation of Ulidavaru Kandante and have the same star cast. In the title launch video we could see the crow with the famous ulidavaru kandante BGM and extraordinary dialogue delivery by Achyuth Kumar. This looks like another full pack movie.
In the interview, Rakshit Shetty said he did not know whether the film Richard Anthony will come into picture, because it took a long gab after completion of Ulidavaru Kandante. Richard Anthony is a democratic film because Rakshit, when he was writing Ulidavaru Kandante, said that the idea of ”for the people, by the people and to the people” was not recognized in our country, so he wanted to clear his points in his scripts.
Yes! It’s true, Rakshit Shetty’s father sleeps in the theater while watching the movie. While he was watching Ulidavaru Kandante, he could not understand the picture, and he slept in the theater. However, Rakshit is not surprised because he knows that his father sleeps whenever he is tired in the theater.
Rakshit was delighted as her mother’s friend was talking about the character ‘Richie’ and she was relating this character to her brother. Yes! we know that Ulidavaru Kandante didn’t make a good amount of money but most of the audience liked it so, that is the reason Richie is on the way i.e., Richard Anthony.
